Join us for two weeks of self-empowerment that uplifts, educates, and expands girls' mind. We believe it is important to show girls that they can achieve extraordinary things if they put their minds to it! Featured are some of the sessions where campers will be self-empowered!

Telling Your Story: Creating a Digital Newspaper

Young participants will embark on an empowering storytelling journey, assuming roles as reporters, editors, and photographers to craft and convey their narratives through a digital newspaper. Designed for girls ages 8-18, this workshop provides a dynamic platform for articulating experiences with authenticity and creating compelling, multimedia-rich content for an online audience.

Confidence in a bottle!

Campers explore self-expression through fashion, makeup, and hairstyles, cultivating a sense of self-assurance and individuality. This empowering session encourages participants to embrace their unique style and radiate confidence in all they do.

Mental Health & Self-Care

Embark on a journey of inner peace with our "Mental Health and Self-Care" workshop. Young women learn to weave self-care into their daily routines, ensuring mental well-being through practices like meditation and journaling. This session is a sanctuary for discussing and embracing strategies to remain mentally resilient amidst life's challenges.

Let’s make a beat!

Dive into the rhythm with "Let's Make a Beat," a workshop where the basics of music production come alive, allowing kids to experiment and create their unique beats. It's an opportunity to explore the artistry behind music through hands-on experience with professional production tools.

Women in sports

Step into the arena with "Women in Sports," a workshop dedicated to exploring the dynamic roles of women in the sports industry and bolstering confidence through empowering exercises. It's a celebration of strength, diversity, and the groundbreaking impact of women in sports.

The Legal Experience

Explore the world of law and demystify the path to becoming a lawyer for young girls aged 8-18 through interactive learning about the legal system, its symbols, and the educational journey. This engaging session aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders in law by making the field accessible and exciting for them.

About the Founder

Courtney “Bobbie” Michelle Harris from Bowie, MD, is a multi-talented artist and entrepreneur with a deep passion for the arts and mental wellness. With extensive experience as both a solo artist and a member of an R&B girl group, Bobbie has showcased her talents across the U.S. From her early days dancing with the Dance Theater of Harlem to choreographing in high school and performing in college teams, she has evolved into a seasoned performer and teacher. Bobbie, holding degrees in Sociology and Dance from the University of Maryland, now dedicates herself to teaching dance in the DMV area and leading Camp Radiance, aiming to impact young lives and her community positively.
